Trisha married a California wild land firefighter and avid hunter in 2005. They have two kids, Trajan and Tallyn, whom she describes as having a talent for mischief. Both Trisha and Trent work for the Forest Service, get outside every moment they can, and try to teach their kids the tough stuff.

I was born and raised in “Onchuckville,” a paved 1.5 lane, no-lines road between two county highways. It seemed like every time my family stopped by Uncle Dennie's, he or Aunt Sandy would regale us with another one of his wild, near-death adventures. I don't have stories of those kinds of grand adventures, but my stories tell about my everyday life and my experiences with family. They describe the many happenings during each season between 1990 and 2000. P.S. All of the stories are true….to the degree that any one perspective of an event is the whole truth.
